Since some people have issues with the dark theme that is in place at the Pale Moon start page at the moment for the celebration, you can restore the default theme by going to Options -> General, and setting the url http://www.start.palemoon.org/ as your home page.
The Halloween theme is temporary, and will be removed again after Halloween.
