Forum logs me out every few days even if "remember me" is checked

Hello,

despite clicking "remember me" when I login to the forum, it still logs me out regularly (every few days?). It’s a bit annoying especially since my settings (including masking some people’s posts) don’t work when not logged-in.

I’m using "Crush Those Cookies" but forum.palemoon.org is whitelisted.

No such problem on other sites.

Are you using a proxy or shared public IP? In that case you may get logged out for security reasons to prevent hijacking your session.
Also are you using any other "privacy increasing" extensions that might change your browser information presented to the forum?

Hello Moonchild,

no proxy, VPN or shared public IP. But yes I have a few other addons… The ones that look like they might interfere are:

- Greedy Cache
- Smart Referer
- uBlock origin (blocking nothing)
- uMatrix (blocking nothing)
- Decentraleyes (but uMatrix is telling me forum.palemoon.org doesn’t access third-party sites)

I'm not sure what "smart referrer" does but you should be aware that the forum does check referrer hosts.
Greedy cache may also interfere if it overrides caching directives of pages received from the forum.
