Is there any way to get notifications by email only?

I want only these 3 types of messages be sent by email:


I don't want no other forum notification, not by email nor by the forum system.

I check those 3 boxes under the EMAIL column and after I click on the Submit button, the same notification types are automatically checked for the NOTIFICATIONS column too… Why on Earth?!

This is not possible.
This has already been discussed previously.
phpbb devs are also not interested in putting a fix for this into the forum software for this milestone range.
This is not our software so if you find this really annoying, please go to phpbb.com and complain there?
