How to get forum notifications by email only?

Is there any way to get notifications by email only?

I want only these 3 types of messages be sent by email:

I don't want no other forum notification, not by email nor by the forum system.

I check those 3 boxes under the EMAIL column and after I click on the Submit button, the same notification types are automatically checked for the NOTIFICATIONS column too… Why on Earth?! :x

This is not possible.
This has already been discussed previously.
phpbb devs are also not interested in putting a fix for this into the forum software for this milestone range.
This is not our software so if you find this really annoying, please go to phpbb.com and complain there?
