Can't tick forum profile tickboxes (PM 26.1.1)

For some reason I can't tick the tickboxes next to a notification item in the notifications list.

But I can tick every other tickbox in my profile that I did a spotcheck on.

Can someone else test this please?

Same here. Those check boxes are set to "disabled" in the HTML...which makes me wonder why they're there in the first place, as I don't see a way to enable them. I have no new notifications, though, so maybe only new notifications have an active check box? Which then allows you to check it to mark the notification as read?

You're right - only the notifications that are unread can be ticked. Strange UI design. Thanks.

It's something I've already reported (the fact that notifications on the board should be independent of e-mail notification settings) to the people in charge of the forum software (we didn't create this, we are merely users) and they said they plan to look at it, but not in the current versions that are released.

There is some logic to when a checkbox is enabled or disabled (the choices are linked) but it's not very intuitive.
