Getting 522 Forum Down Errors
Has anyone else been having this problem with the Pale Moon Forum in the past few days: Error 522 Ray ID: 277fbc58392a22fa • 2016-02-21 04:34:10 UTC Connection timed out?
I was only able to connect to post this topic after about 8-10 minutes or so of around 12-15 attempts to reach the site as I would continue to get the 522 Error.
Further explanation was as follows:
If you're the owner of this website:
Contact your hosting provider letting them know your web server is not completing requests. An Error 522 means that the request was able to connect to your web server, but that the request didn't finish. The most likely cause is that something on your server is hogging resources.

Re: Getting 522 Forum Down Errors
There has been incidents where the forums have been down but for a short period of time, outside of the scheduled maintenance. These could be short maintenance moments or minor updates.

Re: Getting 522 Forum Down Errors
Thanks for the heads up.
I was just wondering because this has been occurring a number of times over the past few days, but is not something I've experienced at all for many months prior to this so it would appear to be more persistence only more recently.

It could be a regional thing, I've had issues like that as well. In any case, we can always try direct communications(e-mail, messenger, etc.) to check if it's the server.Pale Moon Rising wrote:I was just wondering because this has been occurring a number of times over the past few days...

Also, why.. What is wrong with my current avatar?
You may address me as "Matt A. Tobin" or simply "Tobin" no other variation is acceptable.. Unless you want to throw in Captainvan p wrote:MAT, can you go back to your previous picture?

I'm guessing it's because your avatar is wearing a Star Trek comm badge and your sig is quoting from Babylon 5.Matt A Tobin wrote:Also, why.. What is wrong with my current avatar?

Didn't mean nuthin' by it--just keepin' it simple. How 'bout Generale (as in Spanish pronunciation)? Just liked it better, el Capitan, that's all.
