DoS attacks ongoing

Unread post by Moonchild » 2024-10-27, 14:07

We're being hit with some DoS attacks at the moment. I've had to take down the repo for the time being (to reduce strain on the hosting node it's on) while I'm mitigating this attack (primarily using CN TenCent cloud infrastructure - reporting abuse to them is pretty much pointless).

Some services may go down as mitigations are being put in place.

Services are restored, I'm continuing to monitor.
Great use of my weekend. :problem:

Most of the load issues have been resolved with some aggressive blocking of one cloud hosting provider's ranges in particular.
I honestly don't understand why people do this.
