I just formatted my system and installed Windows 7 x64
Installed the same Add-Ons as I always do on a fresh clean Pale Moon 24.7 installation:
- AdBlock Edge
Disconnect
LastPass
Xmarks
Google Analytics Browser Opt-Out
TinyURL
Print Pages to PDF
IETAB
When I first launch my browser, I cannot click on anything for like 7 seconds.
Can anyone verify if they have the same issue?
It happens each and every single time

I didn't notice any difference. Windows Vista 32bit. addons: ABE and LP, and a bunch of others not on your list.
There are a couple of really nice changes in .7, like removing you know who's safebrowsing and granular referrer control, the latter will eliminate one addon for me.

Can't say I have seen this issue, at all, in any of the beta and release versions.
Since it's a new OS install, with all defaults for things like AV and firewall, perhaps you're seeing a delay because Pale Moon gets scanned? 24.7 is brand new after all and probably has no known reputation yet.

thanks, that's a great hint and I see no other reason for the hang.
I have Norton Antivirus 2014 so I'll just give Pale Moon a positive reputation and post this on their forums
Thank you so much for this awesome version Mr. Pale Moon! SUPER!

I found out the problem guys, it WASNT the Antivirus!
I disabled every add-on one by one, then the problem disappeared the moment I disabled LastPass!!!
I then reinstalled it again, the latest version, same result!
Time to look for an alternative!

If you had read carefully their privacy policy you'd never installed it.
Edit: You should remove IETAB also

What's the issue with their privacy policy on LP? It's all encrypted locally so it's not supposed to be monitored. It''s worse for XMarks though which he also has installed. Yea, I know bookmarks aren't as sensitive. Still, I passed on XMarks.

1) Why remove IETAB? I use it to load games on MSN that only load on IE (I don't have IE installed)
2) What alternative do you recommend me to use instead of LastPass? I saw KeePass but that requires it to be installed I wanted a browser extension only not a program

So how do you backup your bookmarks? I've been using Xmarks for years

The only online bookmark syncing I've used was in FF. I always read the fine print, and I could not find another suitable option. I could do what I needed manually anyway with a bit of effort. Syncing just made it easier. It's a shame about XMarks policy, but I understand they won't just offer all their services for free out of the kindness of their heart. It isn't all that bad, really, just conglomerate analysis data I think, not user-identifiable. So if you really need it, just stick with it, because it's not like there's a much better choice, at least not for free.

I just tried KeePass but what the heck...you have to manually copy/paste usernames then copy/paste passwords in your browswer?? how does anyone consider that as analternative to LastPass this is so different and slow.
I'm kinda lost now I want an alternative to lastpass that only install itself as an add-on to the browser yet is secure and auto fills my passwords automatically
In ever had this LastPass issue until today.
I will try another clean install of Pale Moon I hope I can fix this

1) Do not use MSN.
2) About LastPass just for example: in the past i have installed Free Comodo Firewall with the sandbox to test it. For an obscure reason... at its desinstallation it tried to have a look to my passwords' database but with Keepass it can't. Personally i do not see the problem to install a program to do the job perfectly we can trust instead to let all your datas so called "encrypted" mouhaha on servers from unknown entities! Install the add-on "Keefox" they work together.

I just did a reinstall of LastPass and Pale Moon this time I did nothing other than install LastPass and I pinpointed the problem.
When I logged into LastPass the first time, the browser also froze for about 6 seconds, the LastPass icon was grey as if I didn't login..then after 6 seconds it became red and logged in.
Everytime I start LastPass, it seems to be redoing this login check again which takes 5 to 6 seconds, that's what causing the lag.
Never had this issue before. Now I can't say if it's the new Pale Moon or a temporary glitch from LastPass

I hate to tell you, but Comodo is not trustworthy either. Their old firewall, which I ran on XP, was better than most of their newer stuff. I thought Dragon was a decent Chromium browser, but I gave up on Comodo after following up on the extensions they added to it and IceDragon (their Gecko browser). It's not fun to find out that companies that claim to offer security and privacy software are cooperating with the advertising media. Heck, I still run Ghostery despite all the negative attention it received, because it still blocks a lot of stuff.
LastPass is the best free choice I know of for what it does.
Maximus, considering your location, it's probably just the spooks (.gov) - they need time to copy all your data - don't rush 'em. But seriously, I'm not seeing anything similar.

Pale Moon 24.7 works well, i have 58 add-ons installed with no problem. Pale Moon is well securised particularly about privacy. Use LastPass at your own risks. The End.

Just tried with Firefox Mr. Moonchild and the issue isn't there! Yes the same behavior in the small time until LastPass shows the red icon as it's logged in but the browser doesn't freeze until it actually logs in as with Pale Moon.
I can confirm that this never happened before today's update to Pale Moon 24.7
Please look into this

If LastPass has made specific changes for Firefox's Australis UI, then they may need to check their code for compatibility if compatibility with Pale Moon is desired. Possibly whatever they changed is causing issues in Pale Moon.
As for alternatives: Pale Moon has a pretty good password manager in its core already.

The beginning: Comodo Trust Toolbar is one of the dangerous category of toolbar, which displays lots of fake tools on the desktops. Your system may starts showing several unwanted symptoms which may cause severely damage to the PC. It comes along with bundles of software and place itself at the hidden location in the system. But all these freeware like downloading free PC games, videos, movies, etc contains several harmful threats like Comodo Trust Toolbar embedded with it. When users install free toolbar this threat automatically gets installed into the system. It embeds itself with original system files and sometimes it may deletes some of it. So you must remove Comodo Trust Toolbar quickly for entire system safety.
Be reassured, by experience i am old enough to know what i mean and who to trust.
For me Keepass is just more practical, this is a full program that does a lot of things, not just a question of security.
