Re: Is anyone running NoScript version 5?

I just installed it, after seeing this thread... ;)
And i have noticed a problem, "Automatically reload affected pages when permissions change" doesn´t work.
Downgrading to NoScript 29.5.3 did not help, so i restored my settings from a backup.
I was using v2.9.0.14 before upgrading to v5, so this problem is probably older than v5.

Hm, I don't have this problem with 2.9.5.3.

Check fx. this URL: http://www.tv4play.se/program/v%C3%A4der?video_id=3825592
Then "Temporarily allow videoplaza.tv"
Does the page reload ?

Yes it does, but only after a slightly longer than normal pause (but that might just have been something weird going on at the time on my computer).

Interesting...
Could you please repeat this a few more times ?
Maybe the reload is always delayed...?

Did it one more time. This time it reloaded immediately.

Thank you !
But since this doesn´t seem to be caused by NoScript v5, perhaps we should continue the discussion in another thread...?

NoScript 2.9.5.3, page not automatically reloading after allowing script ?

Post by hackerman1 » 2017-03-06, 00:38

I have now tried v2.9.5.3 one more time.
But, same result.
The page is not reloaded.
My setting is to only reload the actual tab, but it doesn´t help to change it to "all tabs".
I have also disabled all other add-ons, just in case there were any conflicts.
But nothing helps, the page is not reloaded.

Maybe it has something to do with PM 27.1.2 64-bit ?
Which PM-version are you using ?

Reloading works in v5 too, it does so after either allowing or disallowing. But with active tab only not works.

Please note that this thread is about NoScript v2.9.5.3, not v5 !
I noticed that you said v5 after i had tried again....

However, for some odd reason now the tab is reloaded if i uncheck "Only active tab".
Weird, because it didn´t work hours ago, see my post above.

But there is also something else going on now,
because now i don´t get the option to "Allow videoplaza.tv" on http://www.tv4play.se/program/v%C3%A4der?video_id=3825592

I reinstalled v2.9.0.14, but no change, not even after restoring the settings from my backup.

FWIW, in my case v2.9.0.14 reloads page after making NoScript changes (PM 27.1.2 32-bit on WIN7)

What other add-ons are you using?

I´m using several add-ons...
But, as i said above, it doesn´t help even if i disable all other add-ons.

I´m using PM 27.1.2 64-bit, that might explain why it doesn´t work.

"Only reload active tab" is under Options, General.

I just tried PM 27.1.2 32-bit, same result, no change.
And back to PM 27.1.2 64-bit, i tried a new profile, same result.
The page is not reloaded with "Only reload active tab" enabled.

Can't find the "Only reload active tab" Option you reference:
Option is not on the "Tabs" tab in Options either
