[PM27.0.1] FinderBar Tweak 1.2.3.1 no highlights in scroll bar
Hi,
Did some searching and couldn't find anything about latest PM versions. So, in case this is not known:
Findbar Tweak doesn't seem to work in latest version of PM (27.0.1) in that no hits are highlighted in the scroll bar (which for me is its main purpose).
Any ideas / known conflicts or other info required, let me know. Does it work for other users?
P.

I've noticed the same issue here and haven't found a solution yet.

I'd found that the scroll bar highlight was a bit buggy even with PM v26, so I stopped using it.
Today I tried v27 for first time (27.1.0.b1) and every setting I use on FinderBar Tweak works fine:
I mention this so that others can still use this helpful extension going forward, as most of it still works fine.

Yes, FindBar Tweak is no longer working in my v27.0.2 and it stopped working on the first v27 update.
The Clear Cache addon also no longer works.
I do rely heavily on both of these so I guess I may need to go back to FF...

IMPORTANT: The add-on will not receive any more updates and will stop working by next November with Firefox 57! Click here for more info.

You'll find plenty more extension developers who will stop maintaining their extensions with Firefox becoming WebExtensions-only

I also miss FinderBar Tweak.
But people here talk about "FindBar Tweak" and "FinderBar Tweak".
FinderBar Tweak is on APO and by Pale Moon Add-ons Team.
So will it be fixed?

Just because we have a rebranded version on our site doesn't mean it's being actively developed or maintained.Paradise wrote:FinderBar Tweak is on APO and by Pale Moon Add-ons Team.

It will be fixed when someone steps up to fix it.

That would be cool, but unless I can clone myself a few times, that's not going to happenParadise wrote:Ah OK. I thought you have somebody with super cow powers who is in charge of a specific add-on

Illiad:
I also noticed that it had not been updated since 2009.

Are you able to run Smart-Find on PM 27? It seems to load OK for me, but does not function at all.illiad wrote:the highlight stopped long ago... but marking text is still good..

As far as clearing the cache goes, you can do that from the menu > History > Clear Recent History, and just choose chache, then click the button.
