Hi & thanks for your terrific program and great support!
my config: Acer netbook AIO725
4 gig memory
1 ghz amd c60 processor
amd graphics
Win7 Sp1 x64
PM 24.0.2 x64 portable
When loading graphics heavy pages (costco.com as an example) the browser freezes
momentarily in the middle or near the end of the page load.
When I check my CPU usage, it's showing very high (~80%) from the PM process.
Are there any settings I can change to speed things up?
Specifically in my BIOS, Win7, PM. I would settle for degradation of picture quality in
exchange for better page load experience.
Thanks again. Best regards, John

Do you try a clean profile?

It might not be your fault, or the fault of Pale Moon for that matter.
Some sites just take an age to upload images... Just tried costco.com (the one you mentioned) on IE10 and PM v24 and both browsers took forever to display the images, the big "Offers Image" in particular (and that's with NoScript and AdBlock Edge). Yet MSN.com (a site with particularly high graphics) loads quicker, as does this one: http://bookcoverarchive.com/ which is full of images
You can have the best PC in the world, with the best browser, if you're accessing a website with absolutely rubbish webservers and upload speed, the unfortunately the site will display at the rate of a snail

You can try the addon "Request Policy" with you have the full control which data are loadet and which not.
Gives you a much faster internet.
If you combine this with the addon "NoScript", then you have the best one.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your recommendations! I will try them,
And, I vaguely recall Moonchild posting something about disabling something to do with graphics if graphics display problems. I searched forum, but couldn't find it.
Anyone? Thanks in advance. Best regards, John
