PaleMoon portable 28.15.0 is terribly slow under Windows 7

PaleMoon portable 28.15.0 is terribly slow under Windows 7
(Windows 7 is mandatory to me so I can test some software compatibility.)

My Samsung hard drive are 3 main partitions:
First) One Bootable Windows 7-64 Pro fr NTFS
Second) One Bootable Windows 10-64 Pro fr NTFS
Third) A data FAT32 wich is where portable PaleMoon reside and is seen by to both OS

Using BootStar BootManager I got 2 boot options
1) Windows 7 and the FAT32 (Windows 10 will be hidden)
2) Windows 10 and the FAT32 (Windows 7 will be hidden)

Two PaleMoon portable installations reside on the FAT32 partition:
PaleMoon portable 28.10.0 and 28.15.0 which are both fast under Windows 10, so far, so good...
PaleMoon portable 28.10.0 is fast under Windows 7, still good...
PaleMoon portable 28.15.0 is terribly slow under Windows 7, in fact unusable...

No version was upgraded, both where fresh install with the "USER"folder restored after initial stat.

Does somebody have any Idea ?
Or have seen the same situation ?

In any events,
I must say a real big thank to you guys. I was going crazy with the old FireFox. What a releaf when I found you!

Robby.

Please check if Kaspersky is interfering. It might be unhappy with 28.15.0 due to the fact that the binary isn't codesigned (while 28.10 is) and as a result sandboxing it or similar killing performance.

a PM 28.15.10 version does not exist
topic title may need to be edited to 28.15.0 instead of 28.15.10

You are right about the version, correction was made. Thanks.

I will do some test with Kaspersky paused.
I will also double check with another dual 7/10 bootable machine...
Later...

The edit made by the OP required new approval.

Yep, I'm a new member here, so I guess approval was needed when I edited the version number from "28.15.10" to "28.15.0".

Update...
I did many reboots in Windows 7 and in Windows 10.
The problem I had since many days dissapeared. Now both portable PaleMoon version runs at good speed.
No update was made under Windows 7, excluding the automatic one for the Kaspersky av.
I can not reproduce the issue, even with a brand new installation of v. 28.15.0.
Good news for the speed. Bad news because I'd be happier knowing what happened under the hood.

If nobody else have this trouble, the only thing that come to mind is the Moonchild's Kaspersky hypothesis,
or... it might be due to a particularity of my systems.
Unless it reappear, I guess the best is to forget about it and go forward...

Thank for your attention...
Robby
