Since the update to 28.9.0.2 (Portable) I can no longer find the button "Copy raw data to clipboard" under about:support. Is this a bug or a feature?

Removed since 20 feb.

"Copy text to clipboard" is easier to read than the raw data

Thank you very much for the confirmation. You're right, of course, "Copy text to clipboard" is easier for humans to read. Only for my PHP script JSON was the best choice.

It doesn't matter. At least then I'll have something to do during curfew.

So curious minds want to know... what php script were you running that would take troubleshooting output as input? And why would you need this info anyway?

Thank you very much for asking. My PHP script has nothing to do with troubleshooting. I have three constantly running portable Pale Moons running for different tasks. If one of them crashes, the other two continue running, and I only have to restart one. Then I have two portable installations for special purposes, which I use only once a day or use only once a week but need a lot of tabs.

In order not to lose the overview of all installed add-ons, I save after changes in the configuration or after updates the JSON data in a database and can therefore always see in which portable version which add-on is installed or is activated.

Sounds like you want a barebones simple extension to do that then ;-) you could fully automate everything.

That sounds good. Just please don't expect me to write this extension. In PHP I am not bad, but I can't do anything else.

You could if you put your mind to it. BTW, I could always use someone to talk about PHP with.

So you're running a sort of CI/CD of Pale Moon portables?

Anyway, you may be interested in Extension List Dumper.

The development seems abandoned. It was like years ago that I used it for myself. But in theory it should work, after quicklook within the changelog & sourcecode it seems like it's a pure XUL addon (thus not JetPack and the like).

I don't follow exactly what is going on here, but to me reading this it sounds like a symlink could be used to share path names for the json data, etc. Or am I wrong?

You could also possibly process "extensions.json" in the profile folder, directly.

As far as I have understood extensions so far, they are written in JavaScript. JavaScript and I have not gotten along for 23 years. It's not gonna change.

I live in UTC+7. If you don't mind the time difference, I'm sure we can work something out.

Unfortunately this extension does not work in my Pale Moons.

Thank you. That's cool. It makes the whole thing even easier.
