just wondering, can you guys build portable version also in paf (or/and U3) formats?

Possible, yes, but unlikely this will ever be done - the portable version is meant to be standalone and not depending on a third-party application, client, framework or service.

It'll still be standalone, meaning not registered in th OS.
paf and U3 just make it easier to deal with (lots) portable apps ;)

I'm sorry but you can't run a .paf or .u3p file directly - this means you have to rely on the framework it's built for. It may be O.S. independent in that case, but it's not framework independent, so it's not really standalone (you need the portableapps or Sandisk framework to run the app).

As far as the current portable version goes: add a link to palemoon-portable.exe to your start menu, desktop, or other preferred application launcher (e.g. a menu on a portable medium) and you're set! That's not that difficult ;)
