Popups slow in popping up

Hi, Thanks for everyone's hard work!

Popups usually very slow in popping up.

Config: PM portable version 15.4.1
32- bit machine
Win XP SP3
2 gig memory
320 gb hard drive

I'm hoping it's some setting maybe in about: config I need to change.

I don't remember having this problem a few versions back-- like maybe v. 12

I haven't noticed that on the occasions I have run the portable version, which popups in particular are you referring to?
