Localization - Anyone with experience?

Unread post by Moonchild » 2012-01-22, 19:21

If at all possible, I want to start offering Pale Moon localized versions for download (instead of the language packs).
However, it seems that particular part of "l10n" is not documented at all; I've found a few references about building a localized version from source but I can't go and build the browser 80 times, that's pure nonsense.

There must be a way to use the compiled en-US browser, and set it up with localized strings on the ready package, and then repack it. Does any of you have any sort of experience with this? If so, what would be the best way to go about it? I'm mostly concerned about the installers since the creation of them is integrated into the source tree.
