Now Pale Moon remembers which last search engine I used and leaves it as the default option. I think I need to be given the opportunity to choose:
- either designate your favorite default search engine
- either use the last used search engine.
It’s convenient for me to have one default search selected, since I often use several search engines, in order of quality, and of course the last I use the worst search engine. Thus, it turns out that the worst search engine always remains selected in the search bar and the next time I forget to choose my favorite one in a hurry and use the worst one.
Allow to choose the default search engine Topic is solved

Re: Allow to choose the default search engine
We didn't change the way this works to a panel with "one shot" search engines on purpose. Most people actually don't walk through different search engines when they perform searches.
For those that want quick alternatives, we have the option to assign keywords to search engines, but that isn't even necessary if you use DuckDuckGo (our default) since it offers "bangs" to launch your search in just about every other search engine under the sun and then some.
So, I'm sorry but we won't be changing this behaviour.

Re: Allow to choose the default search engine
You could also try Keyword Search 1.1.8.3. Not Pale Moon-specific, but it works for now.
