Page Info/Media: remember layout/column sorting

Unread post by back2themoon » 2018-09-14, 10:37

When opening Page Info/Media, the layout and column sorting is reset every time. For example: I usually press the Type column to separate Images, Videos etc. and drag down the Address window to make space, thus reducing Media Preview. All of that is lost every time.

It'd be nice (and logical) for Page Info/Media to remember these user changes. Not sure if this is a bug.

Perhaps this belongs to bug reporting? I see latest FF also behaves this way.

If you resize the Page Info dialog (which you can do), that should persist.

Layout of the items within the dialog, that is a different matter.

Most elements I would think you could adjust with CSS?
