The "Ask me every time" option

Unread post by Czubek » 2018-02-01, 22:44

I used this option a lot. I know there are a myriad of cookie handling extensions that get rid of them AFTER they're on your set, but the the "Ask me every time" option didn't let them on in the first place.

Need to bring this option back, for security reasons...

Diversity is key.

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

At most anything here is for privacy, not security reasons. Also, it makes no difference whether the cookies temporarily get stored in the jar to immediately be removed or that they are prevented from being stored in the first place, because for the web there is no difference between the two.

"Bringing the option back" is not going to happen. The feature was clumsy, designed for a different era, and vastly inferior to what is already out there as extensions.
