Include option audio/sndio for Freebsd

Unread post by backdoor » 2017-11-27, 14:59

Hi all, good to see this branch in the FreeBSD ports collection. Thanks. This application could potentially find its way on to many more BSD's if it included audio/sndio as a build option. If that's out of the question could someone be kind enough to point to the correct sources, and build set up and I'll try to cobble it together myself.
Many Thanks

Hurr Durr, sndio is included but hidden inside Makefile for port www/palemoon-27.6.1. This was a recent change to this port since it hit the FreeBSD ports and none of us were aware of this. It seems as if Mr Zhihao Yuan wasn't sure if PORT_OPTION=SNDIO would build at FreeBSD land. It does build/install with sndio and so far so good with this browser. This is the long explanation for jumping the gun. Someones got to do it.

How do you guys mark a thread resolved?
