Change default theme background color

Unread post by Azgort » 2017-09-30, 07:42

Is there any way to change background color of the Pale Moon's default theme? It is too dark, I'd like to see something more bright like Firefox default colors. I don't want to install any additional themes, because they don't look good.

You can install Firefox Lightweight Themes in Pale Moon to change the background to something you find more appealing: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/themes/

Any other means, without having to install addditional themes (as Azgort was asking)?

For me too, just a somewhat lighter background color would be preferable. Something which still distinguishes it from the traditional grey used by Internet Explorer since the nineties however. Just a shade, or a few shades, lighter than the present background might be good.

But in the end, it's not all that important as I see it. For all I know, all those personal tweaks might even just make it easier for your browser to be fingerprinted!

What your browser looks like to you is not something that can be fingerprinted. Really, think for a second. Would that be exposed to websites? nope.
