Mute audio for inactive tabs

Unread post by askfor » 2017-04-10, 14:37

I am playing with Vivaldi while looking for Firefox replacement. That is how I discovered that Vivaldi allows audio to be muted in inactive tabs. It is a configuration option at the moment. It is not something one can't do without. However, many should find it useful. There are few of us who can listen multiple unrelated sound sources in the same time without feeling frustration.

No I haven't, but I read about it. It helps, but it is not quite what I hoped for, according to description. As I said, it is not something one can't do without. For now, I dropped Vivaldi, I have no time to play with it. Now I am using Seamonkey + Sea Fox theme as main browser, and getting myself familiar with Pale Moon.
