There was a problem with the status bar add-on at the time of the 9.0.1 release. When setting the status indicator (for status and links) to "pop-up", it would not work and not display any status/links. The default setting, using the status bar, works fine.
A new add-on version has been created, and can be downloaded here:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1466747/Palemoon/support/status-2.5/statusbar@palemoon.org.zip
To install:
- Download the .zip file from the url above
- Exit Pale Moon (File -> exit or [Pale Moon button] -> Exit)
- Extract the .xpi file from the .zip
- Copy the .xpi file to the extensions subfolder under the Pale Moon installation folder (not to your profile!).
(usually this is C:\Program Files\Pale Moon\extensions or C:\Program Files (x86)\Pale Moon\extensions)
Overwrite the existing statusbar@palemoon.org.xpi file there
This will fix the pop-up issue.
