Sync planned downtime

We will be migrating Pale Moon Sync to a new server on Wednesday Oct 9th 2019 (tomorrow) starting 12:00 UTC.

During this time, Sync will be unavailable. Your browser may throw errors and the status page may also not be available at times during this window.
Expected downtime for migration is up to 12 hours, but might take considerably less, depending on how smooth moving of the database data goes.

Migration has been completed. You should be able to sync again from this point forward, although for some locations it may take some more time for the DNS change to propagate.
It's recommended to let Sync resume on its own accord after the downtime and not force synchronization unless strictly needed, to prevent unnecessary load spikes on the new server. Thanks in advance for your consideration!

We've taken down the sync service for some tuning to the new hardware and environment. This may take a few hours; optimizing many GBs of data takes time. ;)

Sync is back to full operational status. Sorry for the extra downtime, folks -- it was necessary to adjust to the new server setup.
