Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Our provider is moving because the datacenter they are in and the upstream they have been getting their services from (Choopa) has not been delivering anything to the standards expected.
This Wednesday we will be moving our New Jersey deployment in downtown New York. We expect the deracking, driving, and re-racking to take around a couple hours.
Due to hardware requirements of our storage [...] plans, we'll have no choice but to transfer those nodes by car.
Originally when we started with Choopa we went with them because they were considered the "Gold Standard" for east coast services. This hasn't been the case though with us suffering around 1 hour of downtime per month due to their refusal to address failing equipment, poor configuration practices, broken BGP communities, etc. To top this off, the bandwidth mixture we've paid for has been replaced with much cheaper providers, all the while refusing to adjust our pricing.
