Thanks for reporting this. I will add Session Manager to the list of add-ons with known compatibility issues, with the addition that version 0.8.1.7 does work with Pale Moon.

The security issues in this cycle of Mozilla software releases are mostly related to newly introduced code in the Mozilla back-end that don't apply to us. The known issues that are left are low priority and will be addressed after the holidays (mostly defense-in-depth)

There have been some compatibility issues with RoboForm and Pale Moon. But I'm sure if you do a search, you might be able to find a solution to your problem.
