ABL 3.0.3.1 is not compatible with Pale Moon 27. You need to upgrade ABL to version 3.5. Element Hiding Helper should work as usual once you update ABL.

Thank you for the suggestion, Pale Moon Rising. As coffeebreak responded, I had Element Hiding Helper installed, but with his/her help, I now know how to use it much more effectively (via Inspector).

If you add the " Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus 1.3.2.1-signed" extension... OP already had this ...

If you add the "Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus 1.3.2.1-signed" extension, you can then use the "Select an element to hide" option in ABL.

The element inspector helped. R-click on the element on the ... do the job. It is possible btw to create an element hiding rule using the Element Hiding Helper from within the element inspector (you'll see a button).
