Re: No install Addon

pale moon is 24.9 What I'm about to say may be a little confusing, so bare with me: For AMO, we put in a specific override in the about:config containing "firefox/24.9" in the UAS to allow Pale Moon users to install extensions from AMO, otherwise AMO wouldn't recognize our browser at all and will h...

Re: John McAfee runs for President (AV creator)

I wonder if John McAfee will choose Michael Brown as his vice presidential running mate since Brown is the present CEO of........wait for it.........Symantec (Norton). ;) Hahaha! I think we will get a serious amount of warnings of threats that aren't real or not as serious as they sound. So really ...

John McAfee runs for President (AV creator)

What! I'm pretty stoked, I mean I know anyone can run for President, but John Mcfee. Wow, Mcfee was my first choice (actually I didn't have a choice because it came pre-installed with my PC) as an antivirus. You know I wonder how this would impact us, any techie/website owner. Like is he gonna make ...

Re: Pale Moon 26 (Goanna) beta2 feedback thread

You need to make sure "Firefox Compatibility" is enabled or set a custom UA for that website so it can function properly. And it works for me just fine on Pale Moon v26.0.0pb2 and v25.7.0 with Firefox Compatibility enabled while using Ublock Origin v1.1.0.0.

@Lucky Bastard: If you could please get Privacy Badger to work again, that would be great! :) This is if and when you have the time, no rush ok.

Re: Pale Moon 26 (Goanna) beta2 feedback thread

Try clearing your cache and cookies and then you'll see this: Screenshot_3.png But yes it's odd, it's a known thing that Google doesn't know to detect UA's properly; they have employed armatures just to have every bit of money possible to them self's. Hey MC, looks like we need your assistance again...

Re: http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ crashes browser

It also hangs in Firefox 31.8 ESR and Pale Moon v26.0.0pb2.

EDIT: no hanging in IE 9, I don't know about Chrome/Chromium and Opera because I don't use them or have them installed.

Re: Facebook Comment Plugin not working

I'm going to very busy tonight (still settling into my new apt), so an extra hand on this issue would really help a lot, thanks. @jake3_14: pretty sure somebody here will step in, so just be patient a little longer, ok. :) So to answer you questions: I use Avast AV software. Is that a known conflic...

Re: Facebook Comment Plugin not working

I this the correct site: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ ? If it is, I've clicked on several articles and was able to view and comment on all of them. Maybe ABL is blocking something? Though I think so because I"m using right now with no problems, but you never know. How about an AV/AM suite filterin...

Re: autoplay won't disable

Yeah, set plugins to "ask to activate" which will sorta do this, but only for certain video/audio plugins: Flash, Silverlight, QuickTime and others. I know, it won't work for HTML5 videos that do auto play. How about a test site?
