Re: Now this is Scarey
Alas, Java != JavaScript. Setting the Java plugin to "ask to activate" won't prevent JavaScript from running. PM Commander gives you an easy option to completely disable JavaScript, but the warning there says that "will cripple your browsing experience and make many websites dysfunctional." If the p...

Re: Now this is Scarey
I guess what I am asking, is what defense against the above would be possible using Pale Moon The new tracking technique relies on JavaScript code that's compact enough to run quickly in the background while visitors are focused on a specific task Disable JavaScript. But that, in turn, will break a...

You still have two other suggestions to try back in your original thread:

Re: Facebook infinite reloading page with image/user posts!
Did Palemoon 27.1 introduce a workaround for this issue, or was it the multiple bug reports I made to Facebook? From the PM 27.1 release notes : Changed CORS handling to allow data: sources, assuming they are same-origin. This should fix the infamous "Facebook endless reload" issue and may make som...

Gee whiz, I don't know what search terms you were using, but it was the fifth result for me:Octopuss wrote:edit: I've just checked and there's no link to RES made compatible with PM27 anywhere in the forum.

PM version 27.1 has a fix for this. Please upgrade once 27.1 is available (very soon) and let us know if that fixes it for you.

Can you post a screenshot of how it looks? The page appears to be rendering fine for me. But then I'm using PM 27.1, so it's possible that one of the 27.1 fixes has fixed this issue.

Re: What to do to use voice chat on BSG?
I'm surprised that Pale Moon doesn't have support for this web standard. Moonchild, are there plans to add it soon? From the technical details page: WebRTC. Apart from opening up a whole can of worms security/privacy-wise, "Web Real Time Chat" (comparable with Skype video calls and the likes) is no...

The way I am reading it is that WebExtensions will not have access to about:config or preferences. Users should still have access to them.Thehandyman1957 wrote:Am I reading this correctly? They are removing about:config and preferences?

Re: Pages which crash Palemoon 27.0.3
I'm using Palemoon 27.0.3 on Lubuntu 16.04 x86 on a daily basis. How did you install Pale Moon? Are you using the binaries downloaded from linux.palemoon.org or are you using Steve Pusser's repo? If you're using the binaries from Steve's repo, be aware that certain instabilities have been identifie...

There is a basic profile migration tool available here:
http://www.fossamail.org/migrationtool.shtml
As stated on that page, your mileage may vary depending on how you have Thunderbird configured.

Re: Honey still doesn't work
They specify on their site in multiple places that they work on Firefox. They seem to want to only deliver a Google Chrome (WebExtension) type extension, no matter what browser I'm using. Pale Moon does not support this type of extension and there are no plans to do so in the future; so for the for...

Re: Just a simple suggestion
Maybe could we have FossaMail for Android (FM4A)? There are two problems with that: 1) Pale Moon for Android exists because it was derived from the Android version of Firefox. To my knowledge (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) there is no Android version of Thunderbird to use as a base to cre...
