If Nimbus was once a legacy extension for Firefox 56 and below version wise, an older version of it might work in Pale Moon. On the Google Translate page, the numbers and letters look normal on my end. You'll have to left click on the attachment to make it larger and once the picture is larger, left click on it again and it will enlarge one more time.
