Re: [Official Thread] Adblock Latitude
A good deal... i would not even call 100-200 MB more for ABL Beta a good deal more. come on guys, we are not living in times anymore where you had only 4 MB of memory and additionally you had to pay tons of money to get more 4 MB Ram in your machine and times like that. You really expect that an Aus...

Re: Electrolysis, or more chromification
I see it already upcoming, people in the future complaining why Failfox is using all the computers memory and they can't have as many tabs open as they have been in the past
This will be amusing to watch

Re: [Official Thread] Adblock Latitude
If 3.5 wasn't working out, why not just start over in a different direction? I don't understand why it can only be that specific line of research or else no upgrades at all, ever. :( What do you expect to be developed? It is an adblocker, what counts are the filterlists, there is more or less nothi...

How about trying with a new profile for once? I experience no problems during start or delays.josephd wrote:Appreciate the effort. I will just uninstall beta and live with the ads waiting for new.

Re: [Official Thread] Adblock Latitude
Sad to hear. On the other side, why constructing something new when the old way also works as it should? Creates only twice the work and takes away time to develope something with 100% attention. Seems the main problem people seem to have with adblock Latitude (Adblock plus forked) is the performanc...

Re: [Official Thread] Adblock Latitude
Ok.. i realized now something :D In the end it all depends of how many blocking lists you have added. Every of these lists need to be processed and thrown onto the open pages, which makes the memory rise of course quite a bit. ABL deactivated - zero lists active, couple of tabs activated and rest of...

Why wasting time with Adblockers which do not work fully on Pale Moon when there is also Adblock Latitude available... works flawless and works the same way like adblock plus.

Re: Like Rats From A Sinking Ship?
I'm with you on that. The problem I am currently seeing with Vivaldi is that it is another Chromium-based browser. I would have thought that Vivaldi would be running the dated Opera, just refreshed and updated. They could do a Gecko-based browser on the side but they are most likely more focused on...

If we talk about rescue... Then i am very much for it that Vivaldi devs buy out Mozilla and make a customizable Firefox again out of it

Re: [Official Thread] Adblock Latitude
Made also a bit of comparison, here my results: ABL 3.5.0= 530 MB - 2 open Tabs (if only using one blocking list memory needed lowers itself to 500-515 MB) ABL 3.0.2= 490 MB - 2 open Tabs without ABL= 330 MB - 2 open Tabs Tabs open have been some Google search and the Add-on manager Browser page. "applecamellive.in" - can confirm that this one makes problems... Just not allowing this domain in Noscript makes the page much more fluid, if allowed with Noscript, page lags.

Are you sure it is the extension and not just your computer or a particularly script heavy abomination site? Yes, new computer and only 2 extensions. ABL and NoSquint. Disabled ABL and browser works as it should. I will learn to love ads. No slowdowns here with any page if i use Pale Moon with ABL ...

886752 Wow, now "chrome-parity" is an actual keyword that they use on their "whiteboard"? Well, Failzilla was and is always on the hunt for a Chrome like experience in general.. Their logic= "Let us recreate the Chrome experience in look, feel and function and we get their users!" End result= Users...

Oh sorry, forgot that i have a general useragent override in use to override all pages
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:25.3) Gecko/20150308 AppleWebKit/600.2.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/8.0.2 Safari/600.2.5 PaleMoon/25.3.0

Sites do work here without problems in Pale Moon, i can visit the sites and can watch videos. Edit.. I can watch some videos, but some are not possible because of location as it seems. But that is the only problem i can find right now when browsing around. Am i missing something? http://sjd.myftp.or...

Re: Mozilla & privacy.. or not?
Crap like this should be only available over add-ons or as external modules to install but never be integrated in the main browser! Same for Audio/Videochat bloat!
For all this crap customization had to go away in Australis.. Mozilla are real morons!
