Re: FireFTP not working after latest update

2.0.28 works here. You should try the following: 1) remove the add-on 2) go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fireftp/ 3) click download anyway 4) should work. Did exactly the same and see no problems. or you try 1) Remove the add-on 2) download the file from https://addons.mozilla.o...

Re: By end of 2017 Firefox will only support web extensions

@sajadi: Your objections have no technical basis. There is no google anything in a self-written web extension. You don't have to go to the google store to install one. I'm the most anti-google person I know, and I'm in favor of adding support for this format. It does not mean you'd be using google ...

Re: By end of 2017 Firefox will only support web extensions

I hope that Google technology will not be implemented. f i would want to use some kind of Google invented technology i already would use Chrome. Webextensions never will be able to do what XUL extensions are capable of. The only kind of Google technology which was quite capable of doing stuff was th...

Re: By end of 2017 Firefox will only support web extensions

Sad that Mozilla thinks that Chromium's extension model will fix their problems. But it never has been the best idea to actually believe they are more successful with trying to become someone else and abandon their own user base, their own concepts and their own technology in favor of an utterly min...

Re: Getting Pale Moon off a linux system

If you talk about the Pale Moon 26.x series, yes, it has quite some growing incompatibilities with today's web. But there is 27 out now, which should fix a lot of that issues. But best wait for 27.0.1 which will fix most likely some annoying issues inserted with 27.0.0.

Re: How do I revert from PM27 to PM26.x?

Go to http://www.palemoon.org/archived.shtml and follow the FTP link and install your wished 26.x build If you complain about add-ons become incompatible and not supported with 27, you are out of luck. This was already explained at the board. Because of the way Pale Moon 27 is built, some form of ad...

Re: Palemoon displays error after update to v27

Does this mean that FF dropped support for Jetpack as well? If that is the case, we can hope add-on authors will re-write their add-ons to remain compatible with FF (and possibly PM). No, it is sadly not that simple. It is even worse. Mozilla drops support for XUL - And adopts the Chrome Webextensi...

Re: Palemoon displays error after update to v27

You can't, because there is NO support anymore for that kind of add-ons. The only way to make them work is to ask the extension/add-on developer to rewrite them that they work for Pale Moon. Perhaps you are lucky and the add-on developer is willing to do so. Pale Moon 27 is basically our much loved ...

Re: Missing content

Perhaps it makes sense to ask if they use some bleeding edge ECMAScript features, which for example Pale Moon does not support? Tested the page with Otter-Browser which uses a revived and updated qtwebkit engine which supports now also newer script features and Otter can show the page with it's cont...

Well, after my disastrous and highly annoying experimenting time with Vivaldi i am back with Pale Moon as it looks like, new 27 beta version works way better with today's web, so i am perfectly happy again :) Good job so far :D Hope you can also fix the last issues with Youtube and video playback in...

Re: Website www.almico.com not rendered properly on 26.0.0 x64

It is an issue with the Pale Moon 26 user agent. You have 2 options now, make a custom override for this page only or make a general user agent override which covers all pages at once but it is also not 100% free of issues, depending which user agent you want to try. There are many available, just e...

Re: YouTube and PM26

Moonchild, Youtube just does not like the user agent you have added for Pale Moon 26. Recent Safari user agent does not create that message. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.1 - That one works too for example. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:311.9) Gecko/...

Re: [v.26] web page is not displayed correctly

And still, imho Palemoon 26 needs to be updated asap. You mean an update in that way that the used Pale Moon 26 user agent is again changed into something like it was during Pale Moon 24 days or like it was present in 25? I fear that Moonchild is not interested in backing out that change from the c...

Re: YouTube and PM26

Seeing this message or not depends on the user agent you are in use. It seems the Youtube override for Youtube used in Pale Moon is troublesome. If you are using that one you will be greeted with that message as it seems. There are 2 options you have. A) Changing that specific user agent override wh...

Re: [v.26] web page is not displayed correctly

Pages which make trouble with that solution are Google mail and Youtube. For both you have to reset the general user agent override i gave you so the normal Pale Moon one and including the 2 compat modes can take over. ;)

Re: [v.26] web page is not displayed correctly

Did not have an issue on previous v.25* palemoon. Now I can't access my profile via FB login on https://www.global.adidas.com/micoach Since there is no facebook login menu anymore. You have adblock latitude? If you have, try to deactivate it. In my case some filter was blocking that login elements....

Re: Kproxy

Pale Moon and Firefox go into different directions now. That means that only a part of the Firefox add-on is compatible with Pale Moon. Many people use Pale Moon because you can customize the UI quite heavily out of the box without the need to install add-ons for doing so.
