Re: Language initialisation

Who is "we" and what is your goal? How is that relevant? It's relevant in several ways, not in the least redist licensing of the browser. However, without telling us what exactly you are doing and how you are packaging the languages with the browser, there's no way to tell what might be your issue.

Locking this thread. Stay on topic for threads folks, don't start discussions about other distinct things as "by the way" remarks, it creates a mess.

For everyone's convenience, I'm quoting the relevant information here from their "Enterprise enablement" section: Suppressing EOL Uninstall Prompts In the latter half of 2020, as part of Flash Player's end of life (EOL) process, Adobe will start prompting customers to uninstall Flash Player. Re: Sites randomly claiming cookies are disabled

This may also be at the root of you having trouble with reCAPTCHA that you posted another thread for. It doesn't like cookies being disabled and will scrutinize you extra for it.

Re: Cutting down on the I'm Not a Robot challenges

We have no control over the algorithm Google uses to discriminate against non-endorsed browsers. There is no global solution, because Google will not do anything to adjust their AI behind reCAPTCHA when it is working in their benefit. The only real solution is for webmasters to stop using this one o...

Re: Something Trying to Illegally Update Pale Moon warning

We normally check certificate attributes to make sure they match for the TLS connection to the update server.
If something is intercepting your TLS connection to the update server you can get this error. More "web filtering" at work here?

Re: Importing own certificates while packaging the applicaiton to deploy

You can use the configure system for corporate use which allows you to preconfigure the browser for internal distribution. Please see the series of articles written by Mike Kaply for detailed information about using the mozilla.cfg configure system and packaging hints. https://mike.kaply.com/2012/03...

Re: Punycode not displayed is domain display disabled

Edited the topic title to be descriptive. Yes, this does seem like a small oversight; domain_display disabled wasn't really tested in combination when I implemented this; value "2" should mean both https and http. It's just that overall domain display is currently getting a higher priority than the ...

Try not to get triggered by it.

It's not the 12th yet.
Once it is, it'll cease to work.

Re: Discord/WebRTC - known working chrome useragent.override

Yes something did change, it's in the release notes . GLOBAL user-agent overrides need to be done with a different preference now, so if you were using a global override before (not recommended) then you'll have to either make site-specific user-agent overrides (recommended) through general.useragen...

Re: Easy crash reproduce

The PDF is converted and rendered by the site (as image snapshots of individual pages). it isn't a direct display of PDF. Since it's over 100 pages long as a single huge string of large (~2500x3000 px) images, your crash may simply be you running out of memory to display them? Using the scrollbar to...

Re: Does this forum require you to log in again if your IP address changes?

Entirely intentional security measure of the forum software.
While in some situations it may be able to recover your session by providing a session ID in the URL, in combination with additional checks like cookies, there is no guarantee that this will succeed if your IP changed.
