Re: Adding a bookmark by CTRL+D without opening the bookmark editor
But in FirefoxPortable_84. 0. 2 Yeah which means Firefox has broken established behaviour. Established behaviour is that the StarUI doesn't pop up the edit box and Ctrl+D does. By linking both to the same pref it's all-or-nothing and will break one or the other. The pref was added to make the edit ...

Re: Adding a bookmark by CTRL+D without opening the bookmark editor
And if you are using the keyboard anyway, just hit Enter to close it. Minimal effort.
Not like you can have a workflow where you can rapidly CTRL-D multiple-pages anyway!

Re: Fastmail "Theme" settings no longer work in Pale Moon (and Basilisk)
Yes we have support for CSS variables. We have been using it in our dynamic Window 10 UI responsiveness, for example, and other places.
So that just means dynamic module import which is one of the latest shinies thought up in the Alphabet soup labs.

Re: Fastmail "Theme" settings no longer work in Pale Moon (and Basilisk)
what Fastmail describes as what is allegedly lacking in Pale Moon does not sound anything like a "Chrome-specific" issue to me.... The situation is that Chrome keeps adding a barrage of features that aren't actually asked for (but web devs use once they are there, because they can and it's ...

Re: Pale Moon won't load http links
The web is effectively almost entirely on https as of now. ...which underlines my point of why you should not need to force it with an extension! The sites that aren't on https by default might not have things set up for it. The sites that do, won't need to be forced to use it because they will for...

Ah. more UA sniffing then. Tisk tisk.
I guess I can add this to the overrides then.

Re: Youtube streaming section not working
If streaming pertains to using the browser to access a camera to stream video to youtube servers, then it most likely relies on WebRTC. Do a forum search for WebRTC to get all the answers (I really don't feel like repeating myself again)

Re: Fastmail "Theme" settings no longer work in Pale Moon (and Basilisk)
Depends on what fastmail is using for their theming. if they changed it to be Chrome-specific then there is little we can do.

Re: Pale Moon won't load http links
Do keep in mind that trying to force https while not indicated by the server is a crutch at best and can break many things. It's like wanting to use the stage entrance to get into the theater: it might work, and it might get you into the normal space for the audience, but you may also end up getting...

Re: uBlock Origin and AdNauseam
Why would they be reverted? They are treated like any other preference. It's stored in your user profile as a user preference -- updates don't remove those.

Re: uBlock Origin and AdNauseam
I did want to clarify - uBlock origin will work, but AdNauseam will require me to mess around with the config files. Incorrect. There's a reason I built in a preferences window control for this class of extensions. See Preferences -> Security -> Add-on security level If you insist on being harmful ...

Ah I see. Well in this case I do think we need to rule out client-side issues first.

Re: Null pointer dereference when saving ftp resource to disk
Confirmed, this is a crash in the DOM security check for ftp subresource loading.
You can work around it by disabling the crashing check: Set pref security.block_ftp_subresources to false.
Opened Issue #1710 (UXP) to track this.

Re: Pale Moon won't load http links
Your hypothesis is poorly supported. That would only be the case if the default protocol in browsers has actually changed to be https instead of http (which to the best of my knowledge isn't the case). As for why the broken redirection might be less noticed, I guess that would be primarily due to th...

Re: AdBlock Latitude and https://www.melaniemartinezmusic.com/
I'd have expected you to understand by now that the blocking extension itself does not do anything but provide a framework for blocking rules which are fully under your control. By definition, the blocking rules are never perfect due to necessary generalization (you can't supply and maintain a filte...
