Re: PaleMoon w/o Web Dev Tools

If you want a custom Pale Moon you can build it your self though using some configure commands. We do have --disable-devtools

Re: Firefox's Desktop Market Share is Nose Diving

We need more evangelism and boosting for Pale Moon to those previous Firefox users to save them from Chrome.

We are gonna continue to run in circles. Now, a2g, if you would like to offer any help and suggestions or time to the current game plan for the add-ons site please feel free to open up a new thread (or use one of the existing ones). tl;dr All that is to be said has been said and it is appreciated bu...

Re: AMO and Zamboni, The Serpent Saga

I would expect the 1st generation site to at least: Support automatic updates of add-ons and identify compatible versions of Pale Moon. Allow multiple developers to edit the properties of add-on. If the above are supported, the custom system developed would be ready to go. Otherwise, especially wit...

Re: AMO and Zamboni, The Serpent Saga

I understand the fact that Zamboni is unstable and poorly written. (Writing everything in Python? I would atleast expect them to use apache/nginx etc. for the server and use python scripts for the rest.) But creating a similar system for Pale Moon will require time and resources, something that hap...

Re: Pale Moon Addons Site - General Thread

Nice setup you've got there :) Another thing (although probably this isn't acceptable since you've probably put a lot of effort into the addons site): how about using zamboni for the 1st generation website? I had a look at their git repo, and it doesn't seem to be as bad as the Sync server. Also ti...

Re: Pale Moon Addons Site - General Thread

The configuration that you are using for the addons site actually supports communicating with PM addon manager? (From the above screenshot I would guess so. Or is it just a mockup?) extensions.webservice.discoverURL is used. Also as for other URLs for the add-on manager they will be set in v25 to g...

Re: Pale Moon Addons Site - General Thread

A little preview because it is very much related to the add-ons site. The "Discover Pane" or Get Add-on's section in the addon manager needed some updating.. Namely replacement with a different page that it loads.

Here is a preview ;)

Re: Finer-grained history delete

History in the end IS nothing but an sqlite db (places) so if you used something like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... e-manager/ and performed a very carefully selected query you could accomplish this.
