@mortal, did you?
I think this is a good test to see where Pale Moon is with the current v28.0.1 build.

Re: new build 28.0.1
PM do not support webextensions now and this is really very very very annoying All right, you started it, so I just have to ask: just which one [impossible there could be more then one] webextension extension is actually better then its legacy version? One of my favorite pages these days. It is qui...

Re: Need help - Complete YouTube Saver
No clue what YT Saver is, but maybe you need a symlink or similar to ffmpeg.bin (or whatever it may be called)?
And is ffmpeg actually need to download or are you looking to convert after the fact?

Re: Facebook messenger, sending images doesn't work. (confirm?)
Safe Mode isn't sufficient? No point testing in any build of PM that has NS installed, cos its behaviour can be totally random.
Or testing in a new, clean Profile?
(Though Portable accomplishes that too.)

Re: Some videos and images not loading/playing in PM 28
Do you have "video" (in Addons Manager) set to "Ask to Activate" (like to stop videos from auto-playing)? That setting breaks video on various sites. So if set that way, change it to Always Activate & see if that makes a difference. On my end, SeaMonkey, XP, I'm being served webm. Seem to recall PM ...

Re: How do you all keep browsing sessions with hundreds of tabs?
I don't know that it is "use case". It is more how one is able to process data. Hi. My name is Steven. I am a tab-a-holic. (And a window-a-holic.) [Shh... & an alch-o-holic. Not really.] I go out on tangents, often. Tangents lead to windows. Different windows lead to multiple tabs in each window. I ...

The point?
People work differently. Is there more that needs to be said?
And obviously, with that many tabs, it's porn

Test in a new, clean Profile.
Make the about:config changes linked to above & see what happens.
(Note that there are two interrelated Preferences in there.)
Or throw TUP into the mix, if others say that works.
Try not to do both at once

Re: The Pale Moon start.me start-page is working well now!
the new milestone v28 for Pale Moon is impressive in speed tests as well You tested against FF 47? How about 61? And who cares about "speed"? Like really. If you cared about "speed", you'd be using FF, now wouldn't you. All Mozilla has been touting since Quantum is speed. (Well, there is nothing el...

Re: PaleMoon 28 - "Save Files to"
Save Files to Is that what it says? There is a difference between left-clicking a file & the save dialog coming up & right-clicking a file & selecting 'Save Link As" (what I see on my end). The former should respect your setting in Preferences | General -> Downloads. The latter will default to the ...

Ignore what I said before.
That does not look to be the case, as in something like that does not happen (at least by default).

Re: PaleMoon 28 - "Save Files to"
Ignore that.Is it overridden for all sites that you download from or only some?
If the latter, you may have a per site setting set for that site that is overriding the default.

Are you using 28.0 or 28.0.0.1?
Does this hang occur every time you open (& close) PM?
Does the hang still occur if you open PM in Safe Mode & then close it?
(And if worst comes to worst, leave Hardware Acceleration disabled.)
