It seems mach has a "package" command.
While you probably can't use the resulting package as-is, it's definitely a starting point, as it likely contains the necessary files.

Apparently I'm the only one liking the default GTK2 theme.
But then again my setup barely has any visual elements, so the "old school" appearance blends in pretty well.

For the record: HTTPS Everywhere is often not needed, as Let's Encrypt is taking care of bringing https everywhere (yes, it's a pun), and sites not providing a secure(?) http connection by default are likely to not have a certificate at all, i.e. that extension will not redirect you to the https ver...

Re: How to build Iceweasel-UXP
I see, thanks to both of you. Now only one question remains: if i have to make a package out of the compiled stuff manually, how can i do it? Different Linux distributions use different packaging. As long as you don't use something like Flatpak/AppImage/Snap (i.e. place both the program and the dep...

I can access the site too (but can't remove the pop-up because I use a content blocker.)

Don't. Your profile will be corrupted and nothing will work proplerly anymore.
Once you upgrade to 28 you can't go back.

Or less drastic, drop the dual guid system to limit suspects to 200 or so Pale Moon only extensions and cut those pesky 15 years of Firefox extensions out. Jokes aside I would be in favor of this. Not for Pale Moon 29, maybe Pale Moon 31 or something. Every extensible software needs to "freshen up"...

Re: classes and component.utils.import
Ah now I see.
I never used classes myself so I never bothered aside those cases when a site wouldn't work properly.
Thanks for the explanation.

Re: Any chance of an official Flatpak release?
Android handsets are very proprietary but use the Linux kernel. I think GPL allows for bundling as long as the GPL binaries are kept pure/open source. So if I understand correctly Android has to run proprietary drivers in user space instead of kernel space (which means reduced performance), because...

Re: classes and component.utils.import
The class keyword isn't supported yet.
You can do the same (well, not really the same, but it's equivalent enough) as that keyword by creating a new Error (in the case of your example) object and extending it like you do with other Javascript objects.

It could also be to provide a similar service for some other application, not necessarily a publically available one, however strange it sounds. Anyway, out of curiosity, when you say it needs a domain, does it mean it requires a domain acquired from a registrar, or can I also edit my hosts file to ...

I really love when people are angry when someone takes a program whose license says it can be modified and redistributed in this modified form, and redistribute a modified form of that program.
And by love I mean that I don't like it at all.

It's all a step in a giant scheme to pass some funky laws benefitting no one but some large company who managed to corrupt enough politicians.

Re: YouTube Displays Blank Page
For what is worth, using the native Pale Moon UA string, I get the old youtube interface and at the time I'm writing this, it works.
Though admittedly I have a fairly aggressive blocking going on, so it might just be a last resort fallback.

Attention Basilsik users:
The new version changes how the extension interacts with the UI.
If you see any problem, please report it here as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Re: ηMatrix/eMatrix support thread
I think fixing it is worth the trouble.
If you get some time to try, see which extensions cause this issue.
I tried with only Adblock Latitude, but the icon would keep being there, so maybe it's a combination of multiple things.

Since it appears the bug is the same, at least I know where to look for. Well, I still have to find a way to reproduce this behaviour before I can actually start searching for the bug, but it's a start. Also I think it's better to move further discussions about this to the eMatrix thread, even just ...

Re: Change User Agent String Automatically
As a former Opera Presto user I have 20 years of experience with UA sniffing. For me compatibility means code served by the remote server which the browser can or can't deal with. If a faked UA (because of discriminatory behavior) means browser compatibility for you - be it. The thing is, Pale Moon...
