To install Avast's WebReb, copy the contents of C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\WebRep\FF to your Desktop then create a zip file with them called WebRep.xpi; drag that file into a Pale Moon window and install it, restart Pale Moon to activate.

Once done, delete the files and zip/xpi.

Does this only happen while trying to manually clear the cache, ie. there's no sign of problems in normal/extended Pale Moon usage?
