Re: uBlock0+MalwareDomainList sanity check, please?
If you're only seeing localhost and your MalwareDomainList is up to date, that's fine, it means some temporary glitch on my side, possibly some caching issue with Process Explorer.

uBlock0+MalwareDomainList sanity check, please?
Could some of you who use the above combination do a check?
Load Process Explorer, select Palemoon.exe (or w/e browser you have uBlock0 installed on) and right-click > Properties > TCP/IP tab.
What are the top two entries, just the first 6 letters/numbers will be fine.
Thanks.

Re: This video doesn't play on PM 27.02
Almost a non-issue, it can be switched on the fly, takes ~3 seconds on a reasonably powerful PC.someperson wrote:Disabling MSE globally is likely less desirable, since it will break or degrade the quality of videos on other sites.

Re: Flash Player Security Update
With Pale Moon x64 on W7 using native, not Gecko/Firefox compatibility, and MSE + MSE/MP4 enabled I can play HTML5 360 movies at HD/60fps, though my fibre/aluminium/copper connection limits me to ~720P and a ~12Mbps connection. Flash installed but set Ask to play.

Re: Flash Protected Mode - Missing
All Windows computers here are 64 bit (along with my Mint computer), so that explains it then. It's specifically referring to the Flash/browser being x64, rather than a general OS/hardware x64. You can, of course, use the x86 versions, for most users, it's probably the most versatile combination an...

Re: Corrupting the Moon: What's next?
LOL, that's inactive, a remnant from Firefox. Even if it was active, Pale Moon has no recognisable ID for the Mozilla server (why would Mozilla want Pale Moon telemetry?!), so it can be sent nowhere.

Re: Flash Player Security Update
If you don't use Flash in IE, you don't need to install that KB. Check that Flash ActiveX has been uninstalled as well, older versions can leave traces. You do need to keep the Flash plugin as updated as is reasonably possible if you use it in Pale Moon however. For sites where you do need it, keep ...

Re: Processor Tempearature
Welcome, Fabio. A large number of variables need testing, here's a few: The first thing to check should be the impact of your security software on the Pale Moon plugin-container for Flash, as Pale Moon isn't considered a 'mainstream' product, it's often treated as 'suspicious', which would add extra...

Yes that is strange, the sister fora, http://www.sevenforums.com and http://www.eightforums.com, display correctly as expected.

Re: Telemetry???
Possibly a bug or we're reading the value the wrong way around, with no sync setup, there's nothing to send, no login setup to receive it anyway. Default is true, I'd keep it that way.

Re: Telemetry???
There is no telemetry collected or sent anywhere, the about:telemetry page is just a remnant, if you dig into it, the only section that appears to be able to be activated shows 'null' for the client id, so anything it might send would be useless anyway. Mozilla certainly wouldn't be interested in th...

Hiya, John. Try this (it will be the default in the updated version , Pale Moon 27.0.2 to be published later today): (Alt > Tools > Options > Advanced > General tab, set the Compatibility UA to 'Firefox compatibility'. Will dupe this on the MBAM forum in reply to your Q. there. Edit: about:config se...

The Pale Moon (PM) Profile is where many settings/customisations are stored, along with Bookmarks, site preferences, etc. (just like Firefox). There's likely to be something in your PM Profile preventing you from getting Yahoo, I've never had any issues with PM 27, either with Yahoo Mail, Classic or the latest version. Try a clean Profile.

Re: Crash when mousing through options in PM 27.0.1
Also, I think a 6GB page file is really overkill. Even with 4GB of RAM, 1.5GB is certainly enough for the page file. Page file usage depends on the workflow, software used and session duration, generalising without knowing those details isn't a very good idea. An easy method to check page file usag...
