Re: uBlock Origin + PM 27.1.1 x64 breaks HTTPS on some sites
Is there anyone who can try this exact same procedure so I can at least see if this is something on my end, or an easily reproducible bug? Yes, I can reproduce it exactly the same way. I'm seeing it differently (redirected to arstechnica UK, UbO 1.11.1rc0, PM 27.1.2 x64 on W7), do you have somethin...

Re: Safe mode not work in PM 27.1
What security software are you using?
It's not uncommon for Pale Moon to have issues with some security software, it's as if they refuse to class and treat it as a browser.

Re: Can't connect to internet with Palemoon 27.1.0
If you're using a 3rd party firewall/security suite, enable the default Windows firewall and reboot then try Pale Moon again. If that causes a popup from the firewall, allow PM to access whichever connection you use for the Internet. You can then disable the firewall again - but the same thing might...

(Alt) Tools > Options > Content tab > (Video section): Enable MSE + MSE for MP4 works for me on W7 with PM 27.1 x64 in native mode (under the Advanced tab) with Flash disabled and UBlockO active. I only had to flip the MP4 switch for one of those videos from my default settings (or perhaps I didn't ...

Re: Pale Moon Still Not Compatible with ProtonMail
I've just created a new account, sent from it, replied to it, logged out, logged back in, working as expected. W7 SP1, Pale Moon 27.1x64 - but not using the 2 password setting, which they now class as Legacy.

I suggest running MBAM (above), AdwCleaner, JRT and a reset of all browsers, save the logs in case something else is/was present.

Re: Pale Moon is crash-prone for me and doesn't work on some sites
Crash-prone? I've used an awful lot of Pale Moon builds, from alpha and SnG builds on up, since 2010 at least. Never have I seen one that came anywhere near being crash-prone, far from it. Try creating a new, clean, Profile and test with that. Work through the recently published topics here for any ...

No problem.
You could also use Pale Moon Commander to temporarily enable enough older/vulnerable SSL/ciphers to use Pale Moon to connect with the site: http://www.palemoon.org/commander.shtml

Re: Secure Connection Failed !
The server is vulnerable, it needs some work to bring it up to modern, secure standards: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=smat-service.smatorino.it You should contact them and ask them to look into it. If you really must use that site before they upgrade it, try a different browser (th...

Re: Bye, FossaMail.
What sort of bullshit logic is that? One major security feature of FossaMail is it disables remote content by default. I bet your postbox doesn't do that. Also, Goanna is actively maintained and patched with each release of PM and FM. Stay polite. Anyway, FossaMail uses a lightly improved Gecko 24,...

Re: Crash dump file?
A CTD with nothing logged sounds like an out of memory/no swapfile issue, how much RAM is usable in Windows, how big is the swapfile, and approx. how much memory is in use by Pale moon just before this happens?

Re: Google Search
Google Search works fine with Pale Moon, it's just that Pale Moon's history and Google's don't match up the way that you think they should, Google's history is saved on their servers, either by your login, cookie data or IP history, Pale Moon's is stored in its own database. You can't access Pale Mo...

Re: Pale Moon Browser Asking To Download Firefox
Try setting Pale Moon to pretend that it's Firefox, (Alt) > Tools > Options > Advanced tab > Compatibility > set the User Agent Mode to Firefox Compatibility for that site. Switch back afterwards for normal browsing.
