Re: BrowserLeaks.com - Firefox Resources Reader Test
Nope. Then again it doesn't matter that a website knows the browser's locale is en-US because that's always true for Pale Moon anyway. Not true if you use a different language pack. I am using the British English language pack, and the Accept Language field in my browser's request header simply say...

Re: videos on some (big) websites not working
I cannot get any videos from Dailymotion (with any browser), but Ora TV works as long as I refrain from using full screen. If I use full screen, I get a big "X" in the middle of the screen. The strange thing about Dailymotion is that Clipgrab works to download videos from it, but I cannot see any vi...

Picture gallery not displayed
SeaMonkey displays the pictures on this page (so do Opera and Safari), but Pale Moon does not. Why? https://www.nps.gov/media/photo/gallery.htm?id=25CA5679-155D-451F-6758AED73EE7C4D3 Pale Moon does not show pictures here either: https://volcanoes.usgs.gov/volcanoes/st_helens/st_helens_gallery_26.html

Re: Not displaying images and odd organization.
I was comparing the response headers from the server with SeaMonkey and Pale Moon, using Live HTTP Headers. They were the same for the same images. When I checked Page Info with both, they reported different file types. SeaMonkey reports "PNG Image".

Does it make any difference? Pale Moon seems to work as well as ever.

Re: Not displaying images and odd organization.
Why would this JXR format be used? The content-type sent for the images in the response header is correct. Why change it?

Re: Can someone recommend me a Youtube Video/Audio Downloader?
The last time I tried to use ClipGrab to download a YouTube video, it did not work. It still works with Dailymotion. I use MacX YouTube Downloader, which is really fast. It is a Mac application.

Re: Not displaying images and odd organization.
Why does the setting for "image.http.accept" in Pale Moon look like this: "image/webp,image/jxr,image/png,image/*;q=0.8,*/*;q=0.5"?
What about image/jpeg and image/gif? Why is it like that and not like this in SeaMonkey: "*/*"?

Re: Not displaying images and odd organization.
Why would a site send an image with the correct content-type to SeaMonkey but the wrong content-type to Pale Moon? I checked the content-type of the image being sent to SeaMonkey and it was correct. Back to Pale Moon, with Live HTTP Headers, the content-type is reported to be image/png, but in Page ...

SSL security test failure
At https://badssl.com/dashboard/, Pale Moon fails the test for sha-1 intermediate, but SeaMonkey passes. Why? I had disabled some of the encryption protocols that I was advised were unsafe to use in SeaMonkey, and done the same with Pale Moon. Since they were the same settings disabled in both, why ...

If you mean caret browsing, F7 toggles that on and off. it does not appear in Preferences for some reason.

If there are more pixels per unit length, it means that the pixels are smaller. So why would the change in point size make such a big difference? There are more pixels but they are smaller. Pay attention to the underline and bold in my post, there was a reason for formatting. ;) While one inch (aga...

Re: Website missing content
It doesn't matter if the website isn't coded 'correctly'. It matters that the sites don't display correctly to the user. Other browsers display https://my.emsisoft.com/ correctly. Oh, and vital has more than one meaning. That is not my experience. Only one of the 4 browsers I have displays the page...

You can search for images on Startpage (without any extra extensions needed), and they do not keep records of your searches.

Re: youtube videos in multiple tabs all start playing at once
There are a few sites that need autoplay to be enabled to view their videos. I got an extension that allows me to toggle autoplay from a button, from here:

Re: On the "View Image" background
You can change the background colour for viewing images from about:config with this setting:
browser.display.standalone_images.background_color
Use the hexadecimal notation to specify colour.
