Re: Videos on streamlive.to
Not sure about the user-agent sniffing. I found that the streaming worked with Opera and Safari but not with Slimjet (which identifies itself as Chrome). Since Opera and Slimjet are both created from chromium source code, the difference must be in the additions made to the browser itself.

Re: "Over-modded?" Pale Moon
I found that spoofing third-party referrers is not a problem, but do not spoof the first-party ones. There is little point in spoofing the first-party referrers anyway, since a server can keep a log of all its pages that have been visited by any visitor.

You would probably get an even better response from Pale Moon by bookmarking those tabs and running them only when you need to. With 600 bookmarks instead of 600 tabs, you would find things snappier.

Re: Cannot play live stream
I do not get even an error message. The video frame just stays blank. With Safari, I got a picture of a clock, which is live because the minute hand moves.

Re: Greetings to Pale Moon - talking about my configuration
If you want to see the full title in a tab, you can always mouse over it and read the tooltip, or click the dropmarker at the end of the tab bar and see a list of the titles of all the tabs.

YesScript still works. It makes a blacklist for sites that one does not want to use javascript.

Re: Blocking vs Disabling JavaScript
But the context menu is part of the function of the browser. Some extensions add things to it, and you can also read source code, or reload images from there. If that is disabled, the browser is crippled.

When did Firefox stop using .json bookmarks with the backup from the toolbar in the bookmarks manager? Maybe Mozilla decided that html was best for everybody?

Re: Blocking vs Disabling JavaScript
If blocking javascript is removed from the interface, it would be nice if the ability to stop certain things done by javascript were left in place. I get really annoyed if some site tries to stop me from using the context menu, resize the browser window, or hide elements that should be in a browser ...

You can hide some elements from a website, but I doubt that you can block them if they come from the first party. I use uBlock Origin to block annoying elements.

Re: Clear URL for Pale Moon & Basilisk
ClearURLs has no install.rdf file in its archive, so it is a webextension. It would be useless for Pale Moon.
CleanLinks release file does not seem to be an .xpi file.

This page tells how to set the browser settings to stop third-party referers.

Re: Nat Geographic Video plays in FF, not in PM
I had to enable media autoplay to get the video to play. Is there supposed to be sound with It? I did not hear anything. I tried with all 5 browsers, and with Slimjet, I got nothing, not even a play bar. With Safari, I got a play bar, but no frames. With Opera, I got a playback but no sound. SeaMonk...

I got tired of Microsoft, and the way they treat their users, so when my last Windows PC died, I replaced it with a Mac Pro. I have never regretted it. MacOS is much more stable than Windows.

Re: uBlock Origin - New uAssets filter (legacy.txt)
I did follow the instructions, with both Pale Moon and SeaMonkey. I got the list to appear in Pale Moon by restoring SeaMonkey's backup. The settings for both are the same anyway.

Re: uBlock Origin - New uAssets filter (legacy.txt)
The legacy list did not appear in Pale Moon's uBlock filter list, but it did in that of SeaMonkey. Is that because the list has 0 entries?

Many thanks for testing and confirming the issue. http://www.kicker.de/news/video/2037466/video_vorsichtige-offensive---schalke-und-die-chance-bei-mancity.html The above link you gave is a good example. Re: How to recover my history
Instead of trying to keep a lot of tabs, why not bookmark things? If you have a group of tabs that you want to use together, you can bookmark the whole lot into one folder and recall them by opening all in tabs. Bookmarks are easy to backup and restore.
