Re: Up the learning curve
Is there a "favoured set of extensions"? The ones I like are based on privacy and security, control, convenience, information. Back when I was using Firefox, I used to see lists of extensions posted by different people. If I looked at two lists, and compared them with mine, thee would be very little...

Re: captchas, captchas everywhere
Pretty sure this basically boils down to a fundamental question: how do you uniquely identify a browser on a device? The answer is that you don't because that's called "tracking" and it's been a big thing to try to stop it. So how do websites "remember" you? They usually use your IP address and you...

Re: remove sites info from addressing
You mean that you do not want the identity box in the addressbar? Why? That is supposed to be useful info.

Findbar checkboxes in some themes
In the themes where the checkboxes in the findbar are changing colour as well as behaving as normal, the "whole word" item does not change colour whereas the "match case" item does. Why was it left like that? I found it easy to update the findbar.css file to make both behave consistently. .findbar-e...

On the page, the image with the 3 cats has a link showing "httpss". Clicking it leads to an error message, "The address wasn't understood".

View Image from the context menu works as well. By the way, an .xpi file is an extension, not a plugin.

Re: Google Maps 3-d doesn't work
I just looked at prefs.js and I have no settings at all with "gfx.blacklist". Why would such a setting be in there? Is that a Windows-only thing?

Re: Format for URL shortcut file so that PaleMoon will open the link inside
You could save your bookmarks as .html and just load that file into the browser. If you want to shorten the list, you can edit with a text editor.

What does this bug do? I have not seen any problems with this version of Pale Moon. Does its effect depend on a certain setting in about:config?

I just tried 3D mode and it works for me. You have to zoom in quite a bit to see much difference.

Re: Dragging links to tab bar
Well maybe we should drop extension support since it seems like extensions just cause users to have to use basic troubleshooting skills that are too annoying to bother with. Or less drastic, drop the dual guid system to limit suspects to 200 or so Pale Moon only extensions and cut those pesky 15 ye...

Re: Retrieve/Refresh Bookmark Icons, Favicons?
CheckPlaces is an extension that can check bookmarks, and it can also reload favicons. It still works with Pale Moon. It is here:

Your image shows the dialog window telling you the filename, not asking for it. That gives you a chance to change the name if you want.

Re: PM, Aero Glass and Windows 10
Why do people want transparent or translucent toolbars or menus? The background shows through and makes the text really hard to read. It is much better if text is on an opaque background.

If you do not have the tabs on top, you should still have a title bar. You should be able to drag the window around with that.

Re: Scroll bar thumbs invisible at some sites
Do you mean the site mentioned (https://testpilot.firefox.com/) on that page has no scrollbar? The only reason it had no scrollbar for me was that the height of the window was more than the height of the page, and therefore no scrollbar was needed. If I reduced the height of the browser window, the ...
