Re: Videos on Facebook not working

Post more details, like installed extensions etc. Also post link(s) to said FB videos. It's difficult to help with no details and zero examples.

Re: Google didn't let me switch to another Google account in Pale Moon, help?!

Using google.com or some other country-specific version like google.co.uk?

(did you seriously expect an answer within 5 minutes before reacting like that?)

It is unfortunate that WebExtensions in the Pale Moon is not supported. Because of this, I cannot use Save Page WE, and this is a very useful extension.

Re: Is there IDM integration plugin for PaleMoon?

So far, the IDM developers have refused to support Pale Moon. Suggestion: learn how to use youtube-dl . It's less complicated than it looks. Instructions for Windows: Create a folder somewhere on your PC (avoid special locations like Program Files etc.). Optionally name it FFmpeg Download latest FFm...

Re: Preservation effort for current XUL Thunderbird extensions?

It seems that even the dictionaries might disappear. These could be even harder to locate later - I've already backed up the ones I need.

edit: perhaps though they'd be easier to fork/extract/convert? Don't know.

As an alternative, PDF-XChange Editor includes a fully working plugin (both x86/x64, license is not essential).

Thanks. A huge button was created (5x the normal size), but it worked.

Re: Retrieve/Refresh Bookmark Icons, Favicons?

Favicon Reloader does not work with Pale Moon 28, this has been discussed in the past and you can stop trying. The suggestion from jars_ looks interesting, haven't tried it.

(update: I installed the extension, but not sure how to create a working button)

Re: Cannot play live stream

Thanks to the Decentraleyes author for the tip: the exception to add here is: videoplayback.parliamentlive.tv

(entering just parliamentlive.tv will not work)

Re: Tobin's forum presence [poll]

"Should Tobin be permanently banned from the forum?" Definitively not. Not sure if Tobin wants or accepts this "responsibility" (I'd love to know) but he is one of the PM project "ambassadors", no matter what his current title/status is. That's why he should always be more careful than "simple" foru...

Re: Cannot play live stream

Well, after trying several user agents I found the right one. So again, another user-agent issue... I have Firefox ESR installed and it seems to only like that one: It's currently: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 It also does not like Decentraleyes (blo...

Re: Cannot play live stream

I wonder if in this case (others, too) it might be a user-agent problem, but triggered by 3rd-party connections (external websites, CDN's etc.) that cannot be easily identified or troubleshot with the 3 available user agents. I guess only an extension can provide a global user-agent override, differ...

Re: Cannot play live stream

Note that it always plays in FF. I still can't make it work so it's probably not a regional thing. Currently playing is this one: https://www.parliamentlive.tv/Lords

edit: "Error loading player: No playable sources found."

Re: Night Mode Addon compatible with 27+?

I tried uninstalling ANM, resetting its preferences and re-installing, but its default settings still affect uBO. This is with the default Stylesheet processor setting (W10 1809):
