Says who? I'd definitively say: not at all. Get a proper PDF reader/editor.

You also use a lot of potentially clashing plugins and extensions. I'd trim those down to what is truly essential.

Re: Forecast Fox Broken
I only use Download Manager (S3) 4.13 - couldn't find a better or equal alternative, since it's pretty damn good. Don't know about its legal status.

Re: [DISCUSSION] What do you want to see in the next version of Phoebus?
You are searching for something, that has nothing to do with categories. Wrong. You might be doing an "approximate" search and knowing the category beforehand will save some time and make the Add-ons Site friendlier . Obviously not a critical feature, but it does have its uses especially as the tot...

Re: [DISCUSSION] What do you want to see in the next version of Phoebus?
Would it be possible to display the extensions' belonging category, both in search results and the individual extension pages? For example, if I search for "keyboard" I'll currently get 3 extensions as a result. It'd be helpful to see the category next to each extension (Appearance, Tools & Utilitie...

Re: Which extensions to download YouTube videos currently work?
youtube-dl takes care of all that automatically, by selecting by default the best available quality. If MP4 is enough, then MP4 it is. If MKV is required for the best possible combination, then it will be muxed to MKV (not transcoded). The user is free to make custom selections, but default=best, an...

Re: Which extensions to download YouTube videos currently work?
Does anyone have a good alternate? Yes. Since started this thread, I invested in a license in 4K Video Downloader and haven't looked back. After having to switch extensions for many years, it's nice to have something that works spectacularly well and can be expected to be stable. Money well spent I...

Re: I accidentally deleted basic "MozillaAddons" (plugins) like Adobe Flash from Pale Moon when going through the regist
If you messed up the Flash installation, it'd be best to first use Adobe's uninstaller , restart, and then reinstall . As for general maintenance tools, I'd suggest Kerish Doctor . As always, be careful of what you do with these tools. TuneUp Utilities was excellent. It still lives on as AVG TuneUp ...

Off-topic:
Not an extension, but see my signature. For something a bit simpler, wait for the next version of IDM which will supposedly support Pale Moon.

Re: Free for all "off-topic" board?
'Off-topic' looks "promising" already... :D Voted no. PM is a small project with lots of creative and hard work on its hands. I'd also love a place to chat about music etc. but there are better venues for that. Additional drama and distractions are unnecessary and it's obviously not going to be abou...

Please Tobin, clearly explain once and for all why you dislike the guy (if you have then I've missed it, sorry). Better yet, put this innuendo to rest. It's not helpful to anyone. We don't like it when people bash you and Pale Moon elsewhere, let's not do the same. As for uBO yes, it's not an "ad-bl...

Re: Suggestion: specific section for userChrome & userContent
My opinion is that an entire "Learning/School" section (or even website) is needed, complete with step A,B, C etc. tutorials and articles for beginners, up to medium or even advanced levels. You guys keep telling users to learn how to build an extension etc. and rightly so. There are known articles ...

Re: Cookie Manager with certain feature.
I don't use cookie-management extensions, but have you looked here ? About the videos, as you know some of the websites that host them keep changing their code. You'd need an extension that keeps updating accordingly. This is no easy task and there is no such extension that I know of. But, there's s...

Cropped fonts
Note this only occurs with gfx.direct2d.disabled=true (I prefer this non-default setting but that's another story). Go to this page . Scroll a bit down and you will see a larger font. It should look like: not cropped.png It looks like: cropped.png Is this to be expected due to the changed setting? O...

Re: Videos on Facebook not working
Also try Preferences/Content/Video/Enable Media Source Extensions (set to off and refresh page). If this works, you can install HTML5 Media Tuner which allows toggling this on a per-site basis (=enabled everywhere, except Facebook for example).

Re: Videos on Facebook not working
Try on a new/clean profile again, but first close the browser and delete the entire cache folder (C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Moonchild Productions). Looks like you have several extensions that might cause this.

This video plays fine here, whether logged in or not. So, for the third time... post the troubleshooting info.
Also try clearing all browser cache/history/cookies etc. Try disabling hardware acceleration (Preferences/Advanced/General).
