Re: "Looks like you're using a browser that's not supported"

Unfortunately, from my experience at least, the rate of success after trying to contact webmasters is about 50%, or less. They usually don't care - doesn't mean we should stop trying though.

Facebook voice messages audio problem

(maybe we should have a "Facebook issues" sticky?) When I receive voice messages (sent from Messenger) in the message inbox, they play at warp speed (20x or sth.) sounding like crazy, ultra-fast cartoon talk. Like this , but faster. Tried Safe Mode and Flash on/off. Trying on Firefox portable now, b...

Re: F.B. Purity plugin no longer works

Try again by uninstalling everything: uninstall all Greasemonkey scripts, uninstall Greasemonkey, fully clear Pale Moon cache and cookies, close Pale Moon, delete the gm_scripts folder (located in your Pale Moon profile folder), reinstall this Greasemonkey, restart Pale Moon, then install this FBP.

Re: F.B. Purity plugin no longer works

Works fine here. You need to use the script version of FBP (the extension doesn't work). I'm using the Pale Moon compatible Greasemonkey 3.6, here. Also check the Troubleshooting section.

Re: Virus off a Pale moon update

You mean the update window below (Pale Moon button/Help/About) that belongs to Pale Moon? It's not a web page and it doesn't open any web pages if you press the Update button. This sounds like malware already installed in your system (before "updating" Pale Moon). http://t1.someimage.com/jjbl7hX.jpg

Re: Various bugs and annoyances

The Mac version is a prerelease one and not currently in development. It's also fairly old now and it's best to use another browser until Pale Moon makes an updated reappearance on the Mac.

You probably mean 1.3.5. There's no 1.3.6.

Re: Firefox's seppuku continues...

Enjoying Windows 10? Ugh, it's terrible. Do you think its settings look nicer? Check out the difference. I know which I prefer. I'm pretty sure that by "enjoying Windows 10" LimboSlam didn't mean he was browsing through the settings all day! You have a point about their looks, but W10's speed over ...

New Greasemonkey 3.5 is out - Pale Moon too, thanks to janekptacijarabaci.

Re: What are some suggested practices for Windows security?

Make sure System Restore is enabled and working on the Windows hard disk (usually C:). For some reason, Microsoft decided to turn it off by default on Windows 10.

Re: Facebook site compatibility

In a nutshell - several UA's were tried, and the Opera 9.80 string seemed to work best (according to users), so it was set as default beginning with PM 25.2. Of course, I know that much. I was wondering why 9.80 strings work best, what's in its inner-lining that makes it better over the rest? (Unde...

Re: some twitter videos do not play

Video plays fine here too, FF compatibility mode off. You have to unblock all access to *.twimg.com, including frames. That's what I did to make it play, because uMatrix was blocking it. Most probably, one of your extensions is blocking it (or some firewall?). Try again in Safe Mode. Also install LA...

Re: F.B. Purity plugin no longer works

Thank you!! The version you posted works fine. v9.3.2.1 from Mozilla's page actually also provides SOME functionality. It's just very out of date. Whatever went wrong, it was definitely recent. FBP Greasemonkey version works fine here, too. There is a new Greasmonkey version for Pale Moon and it wo...
