Re: Want to talk about NoScript? Post here.

(2) In PM (27.9.1x64 and unstable portable v.27.9.1a1x64 from 2018-05-03), I have NoScript 5.1.8.5 and UBlock Origin 1.16.4 . I tried to install UBlock Origin 1.16.6, but was told "PaleMoon doesn't support Webextensions", which I knew. For PM, you need to install firefox- legacy -1.16.4. It hasn't ...

Re: Want to talk about NoScript? Post here.

Actually, this is about NoScript, UBlock Origin, and Webextensions. (1) In Basilisk, I have NoScript 5.1.8.5 and UBlock Origin 1.16.6. I tried to install NoScript 10.1.8.1. It "installed", and the correct version number showed in the add-ons panel. As far as I was able to tell, though it didn't work...

Re: Basilisk - clear history

I can't reproduce your issue using Basilisk 2018.05.15. As soon as you clear cookies for forum.palemoon.org, you log out immediately. Hmmmm, then I wonder what the problem on my end is. Trying it with a brand-new profile and poking around a bit revealed some very interesting things. (1) Hitting Ctr...

Re: Basilisk - clear history

Hmmmm, no, it looks like something's wrong. I just clicked Ctrl+Cap+Del, the Clear All History Window opened ("Time Range to Clear" is set to "Everything"), I clicked "Clear Now", and then I clicked "reload". I'm still logged in to the forum! I've just tried it with my online banking, though, and cl...

Re: Basilisk - clear history

This is not a bug, because Restart != Exit+Start , and it does not reset the session. Thanks for your reply, but I don't understand what you mean by "Restart != Exit+Start". What's the purpose of your exclamation point (Restart !)? And if it's a feature, what's the logic? I mean, isn't the first st...

Basilisk - clear history

I have Basilisk set to "Clear history when Basilisk closes". Under the related "Settings", everything is checked except "Site Preferences". This includes "Active Logins". I just installed an update (1.7.3.4) to the Classic Theme Restorer extension. It requires a browser restart. When it restarted, I...

Re: Want to talk about NoScript? Post here.

Does anyone know with which version update the issues began? I use 5.1.8.5 and have no issues. There are no issues. I use NoScript 5.1.8.5 with "normal" PaleMoon and the portable version as well as with Basilisk. I do this on six computers. I haven't seen a single popup or warning yet either, and -...

Re: Still consistently having issues with specific websites

I can only repeat what Nightbird said. https://edu-net.net/images/proton_2.jpg It might be helpful if you told us your operating system. Also, you wrote, "I've tried portable and regular, x64 and x86, with and without any extensions ...". When you say "without any extensions", does that mean you've ...

That Basilisk is beta software was politely emphasized. This made a good impression. That you guys jumped in with both feet and fixed this so fast made a GREAT impression. Thanks again.

Re: Addon: Self-Destructing Cookies has stopped working

I guess the problem with the cookies-related extensions is part of a bigger issue.

https://github.com/MoonchildProductions/UXP/issues/265

I'm looking forward to the next version of Basilisk. Thanks to the devs for their commitment and effort.

Re: Addon: Self-Destructing Cookies has stopped working

I've gone back to an older version that I had saved on my machine. But don't forget that without reports of errors they will never be fixed. I think I can say with confidence that, based on the postings here, this particular issue will attract the devs attention sooner or later. And since this issu...

Re: Addon: Self-Destructing Cookies has stopped working

This means that you can not expect that it will always work without errors, but rather quite the reverse, since it is used as a test site for development. Gotcha'. I know this. I'll certainly keep Basilisk on my machine, but I simply can't use today's update as my main browser. I've gone back to an...

Re: Addon: Self-Destructing Cookies has stopped working

Sorry guys, but this is a major problem.

I have to enter the cookies permission again with every new session.

I respect Moonchild's position about going back to old versions, but this is a usage killer for me.

Re: Addon: Self-Destructing Cookies has stopped working

I use an extension called CookieShield (v. 0.4.0), and its behavior has also been degraded by the update to Basilisk 2018.04.24. For example, I just tried to log into my PayPal account, and I had to re-click "Allow cookies" although that setting had been working since the last Basilisk update. Hmmm,...
