Two version updates yesterday?

Just out of interest, were there two updates to 28.6.0a1 x64 portable yesterday (24 May)? I ask because I checked for an update last night at about 01:30 Berlin time (25 May) and was told one was available. I did the update, dated 2019-05-24, and it worked fine. I just checked again (25 May, about 1...

Re: easyJet.com

This might be a case of user agent sniffing. Have you tried creating a new user agent for the Easy Jet site? Thank you. Yes, that was the problem. I have an extension called UA Control Options and for easyJet.com I used Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chr...

easyJet.com

This issue pertains to the latest release and unstable versions of PM and the latest Basilisk. It happens both with my normal profile and a brand-new one. I can get onto the easyJet site with no problem. I'm also able to select flights and dates. The problem begins when I click to search for flights...

On the page, the image with the 3 cats has a link showing "httpss". Clicking it leads to an error message, "The address wasn't understood".
My most sincere thanks.

Re: Format for URL shortcut file so that PaleMoon will open the link inside

I wish there was a way in the forum to mark topics like this one [SOLVED]. :) That would make the forum a bit cleaner. But I don't see a way of doing it at the moment. Yeah, unfortunately we lost that function when the forum was upgraded a few weeks ago. Hopefully it (or a similar function) will be...

Question about site security identification

The PM release and unstable versions display my site's URI with a red (warning?) indicator, whereas Basilisk doesn't appear to find any reason for "alarm". Does anyone know why? https://edu-net.net/images/edu-net-security_2.jpg My site certificate is a "generic" one that my provider (Dreamhost.com) ...

Re: Loving the language used in the v28.5.0 release notes

This clip is the first thing that came to my mind when I read the phrase "about:robots". about:robots It's an anime that uses a text from the relatively well-known Will Smith film. The film is loosely related to the 1950(!) "fixup" novel by Isaac Asimov derived from what had been short stories. I re...

Re: Difference between PM and Basilisk in handling video

I found it! The behavior was triggered by the fact that the setting "media.play-stand-alone" was set to false.

My sincere thanks to "Galaxy" for the follow-up and effort.

right-click on mimeTypes.rdf and ... rename.
I've done this, it did what you said, but Basilisk is still asking me what to do with the file.

Re: Difference between PM and Basilisk in handling video

JoeyG, I don't have mp4 listed in Tools->Preferences->Applications. Actually, I found a way to remove it from that list, but it didn't solve the problem. I'm assuming it has something to do with "mime-types". I've looked at this thread, but it doesn't help. https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?...

Difference between PM and Basilisk in handling video

I'm running the latest versions of PM (stable and beta-portable) and the latest version of Basilisk on two basically identical Lenovo S20 workstations. In the Tools->Preferences->Applications settings for all of six them, the setting for mp4 File is "Always ask". The video in question is https://www...

JoeyG - Blitznet is coming! Run for the hills! :3 [/offtopic] Ummm, I looked up Blitznet, but I have to confess that I don't see its relevance here. In fact, I'm not even sure what it's supposed to do. All I know is that if I replace the sheep in this picture with pictures of my cats, they'll be ab...

Still, for some reason it doesn't feel like you actually took the advice... though it was good. Especially the last part which you ignored - virustotal - that is essential. Yes, it was good. Thank you again. Actually, I'm well aware of the Virus Total website and use it whenever I download anything...

FYI - ... Thank you for your input. Unlike you, I have zero technical qualifications. However, in over thirty years of using PCs, I've never had a virus or any other type of malware, thank God. I guess I'm just lucky. Again, thanks for your input. P.S. Just to be fair to Norton, I'm well aware that...

Actually, there are 3 NECs in the pic: a 241 SpectraView, a PA272W, and a PA241W.

I do some translating, and the real estate really speeds up the workflow.
