I think now we need an extension which adds `disable_polymer=1` at the end of every YouTube URL. Just like new Reddit is slow, and a rewrite to old.reddit.com is needed.

Independently I also found that issue is not as pronounced as my previous post states. Issue exists on my existing profile but on a week old profile I do not experience any issue. So something in my profile may be causing the issue. I think culprit is the Milestone 10 theme I am using.

After latest release, extension is not usable anymore as UI popup gets displayed only once. Subsequent clicks on the extension icon do nothing.

If you bring your "appdata" folder back, issue will remain because the problem is in your profile present in appdata (and your backup).
