New article today on gHacks about Asynchronous Plugin Initialization improves plugin startup in Firefox.

Is this something that one day might make it into Pale Moon?

The CookieKeeper developer has released a new version compatible with Pale Moon. (Note: It is still in the testing stage, not yet a final release.)

Instead of completely turning off real time protection, dose MSE allow you to whitelist that folder so it won't scan just that? [Of course, if it does, then you'd have to be extra careful of what you download.]

If it doesn't, I'd switch to a different AV.

In layman's terms, what would be the "real-use" advantage of the high setting (which would be "9" I suppose since it's higher than 1 and 3)? Is it only gaining disc space?

Open link in... (v1.9) is reported to work in Pale Moon 25 (here in this thread).

The description says it will also open images in a new tab. Hope this works for you.
